The Yamaha Technical Academy (YTA) is Yamaha's global technical education system designed to produce a base of skilled Yamaha 3S Shop technicians who can provide high level of technical services.

Our YTA instructors combine comprehensive motorcycle engineering and latest technical information from the Yamaha factory with "real world" diagnostic and troubleshooting skills developed over many years of actual dealership experience.

YTA Technician Certification Program

The YTA Technician Certification Program covers three levels of proficiency: Bronze, Silver and Gold.

All YTA courses are offered exclusively at modern Yamaha training facilities.

YTA Bronze

The YTA Bronze is a self-paced, correspondence training course designed to be completed by the 3S Shop Technician. To successfully complete this course, the technician must pass a wide-range of tests that covers the engine, drivetrain and chassis systems, and service procedures on Yamaha motorcycles.

YTA Silver

The YTA Silver catagory is a comprehensive training course which focuses on advanced system diagnosis and troubleshooting, providing hands-on learning using the most recent products, tools and troubleshooting techniques.

YTA Gold

The YTA Gold is the highest level of Yamaha Factory Training course available. This provides a higher level of systems troubleshooting and diagnostics, with over 80% hands-on learning using the latest products, tools and troubleshooting techniques.
