Tribu del Mio de Bohol: One Young and Dynamic Club!

Tribu del Mio de Bohol (TDM) is a club consists of various Yamaha Mio Sporty, Mio Soul and Mio Fino owners. It was founded through the efforts of Mr. Lord Dinno Tan, the current president, Mr. Jethro Oclarit and Mr. Fronel Carl Quimno when they planned and decided to put up an organization for all Yamaha Mio owners during the “Yamaha Thanks Campaign” way back year 2010. TDM will be celebrating their second anniversary this coming August 17, 2012. The club initially aims to gather people and to create friendship that has the same passion and interest on AT motorcycles, particularly on Yamaha Mio units.

Aside from their love of touring activities, the club actively responds to the needs of their respective communities. Mr. Tan proves their concern for the environment through projects such as coastal clean-up, tree planting and the like. They also held a bloodletting project which was supported by some medical technologists in their city, he added. Last December, TDM donated grocery items in an orphanage which gave them an idea to extend assistance more into orphans and decided to do it every Christmas season. He emphasized that on their 2nd Anniversary, they would want to conduct a medical mission since most of their riders are nurses and doctors. For TDM, it will be an opportunity to “pay it forward”- sharing their blessings to others by creating activities that would definitely help the less fortunate ones.

The president aims to encourage more Yamaha Mio users nationwide to join their activities for them to reach their goal of having 1,000 active members. They are also planning to visit other countries and conduct activities using their Yamaha Mio. Possessing the values of patience, affability and faith, Mr. Tan aspires TDM to be the most organized and most disciplined touring club of the Philippines in the future.
