YAMAHA CLUB
YRCC: Pride of Cavite Riders !
-
Yamaha Riders Club of the Philippines would not be this big with over 50,000 members (an estimated number as of December 2011) without the support and cooperation of its several sub-groups, sharing the same passion on Yamaha motorcycle riding and creating great experiences for its members.
Yamaha Riders Club of Cavite (YRCC) is one of them that continuously support Yamaha Motor Philippines Inc. (YMPH) in achieving its goals and objectives throughout the years. Founded on April 12, 2006 and officially recognized by former YMPH President Yoshiaki Takeda, YRCC was established through the efforts of Mr. Christian Jove Aure, Mr. Noel Torehas and Mr. Cyrus Astillero. The club aims to guide other Yamaha motorcycle owners to learn more about the benefits of their motorcycles, to assist them with their concerns in maintaining its performance, and to gain camaraderie that shares the same interest and passion in motorcycles. As of the newest count, the YRCC has more than 150 members.

YRCC members can exclusively participate on their club excursions, riding activities and enroll on their Rider Safety Education program. In additional, they can also avail discounts from their partner shops for their motorcycle accessories and riding apparels and acquire twenty five thousand pesos (P 25, 000.00) worth of accident insurance from Philippine National Red Cross. Mr. Astillero added that the club is also a member of “Confederation of Cavite Motorcycle Riders Inc.”, working hand in hand with the Provincial Government of Cavite and PNP Cavite to strengthen its anti-crime efforts. Furthermore, the club also donates regularly to the “Mango House Children Orphanage” and visits it twice a year.
This coming April 28 to 29, they will be conducting YRCC Fiesta to celebrate their club anniversary as well as to promote their club and the company. It aims to bring the Caviteños in a once in a lifetime festive experience of Yamaha Fiesta.
Mr. Rizaldy Barlis, a proud member of YRCC for a year now, said that “I love YRCC and this group taught me to be a responsible RIDER in the road and in my life.”
For the next ten years, Mr. Astillero hopes that YRCC will continue to grow and help Yamaha motorcycle owners enjoy and take pride in owning Yamaha. He also added that the club may not be perfect but they should all “do their share to help the club members grow and improve”. Moreover, he said that the group continues to preserve the “Tropahan” and “Barkadahan” values that are significant in Filipino society. He concluded that they “must strive to be a positive influence” to other members and “be always willing to help and be understanding to each other”.
YRCC also guaranteed sincerely to YMPH that they hold to their commitment and collaborate with the company in accomplishing success through the efforts of promoting its goals and activities.
