ROAD TO SAFETY CONTINUES TO ITS 4th LEG: BE SAFE, BE DIFFERENT, BE YAMAHA ILOCOS TOUR (Vigan - Pagudpod)

Yamaha Safety Touring Campaign continued to hit the roads as they geared up to Ilocos for the 4th Leg, starting its route from Vigan all the way to Pagudpod last July 14-15, 2012. With the total of One Hundred One (101) riders, it is considered as the largest group of touring participants done in the safety touring campaign.
The leg started with the registration of Thirty Five (35) Vigan Riders from the 3S Shop Motortrade and headed for a gas-up at the nearest gasoline station. The riders travelled an approximate distance of Seventy Eight (78) kilometers to 3S Shop UEMI to meet up with the Sixty Six (66) Laoag riders.
The Chicken Ati-atihan Restaurant satisfied the riders hunger with the mouthwatering lunch and had a photo shoot and get together as they visited one of Ilocos’s pride, the Bangui Windmill.

The Riders arrived at Hanna’s Beach Resort around four o’clock in the afternoon.  They took a short nap at their designated rooms; some enjoyed the relaxing ambiance, swimming pools, and the recreation areas. They then had a pleasant dinner as the band serenades them. After which, the main highlight of the activity began through the seminar headed by Mr. Niel Hindang, an instructor of Motorsports and Safety Promotion (MSP).
After the seminar, the Vigan and Laoag Team competed through a “Paint me a Picture” Game, which was headed by Ms. Arshel Antazo. The game ended with a hilarious tie-breaking Beauty Pageant, headed by the team leaders.
The program ended with the signing of the “Be Safe Wall” which represents conviction of Ilocos Riders to Road Safety. It was initiated by Mr. Rodney Bersamina, the MSP Supervisor, together with inspiring closing remarks.
