YAMAHA RUN 2011

YAMAHA Hosts Run for Heroes!

  • A sea of runners in red and black flocked the serene streets of Bonifacio Global City on July 3 for the first installment of Yamaha Run for Heroes.
  • The first company-initiated public run by Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. (YMPH), Yamaha Run for Heroes attracted almost 8,000 runners from Metro Manila and neighboring cities. A perfect sunny weather greeted the runners as they gathered together to embark on this running event.
  • YMPH was able to raise over P1,000,000.00 for the official event charity, Hero Foundation, Inc. - an Ayala Group initiative which provides education support for children of soldiers who have died or permanently incapacitated in the line of duty.
  • YMPH President, Takeshi Yano said “it was very overwhelming to see so many people running together to help children in need.”
