TOURING REPORT
- Yamaha Motor Philippines, Inc. (YMPH) would like to thank all the participants of the YBR Touring Adventure, Luzon Leg held from July 3 to 5, 2009 at the Caliraya Resort.
- The Luzon tour was divided into the following groups:
- Bulacan group: Calumpit ~ Malolos ~ Meycauayan ~ Valenzuela ~ Monumento ~ Quezon City ~ Ortigas (joined Manila group)
- Manila group: Ortigas ~ Marikina ~ Cogeo ~ Sierra Madre ~ Mabitac ~ Siniloan ~ Paete ~ Caliraya
- Lucena group: Lucena ~ Tayabas ~ Lucban ~ Luisiana ~ Cavinti ~ Caliraya
- At the Caliraya Recreation Center, the riders participated in a number of fun activities:
- There were a number of games hosted in the recreation center. The Earth Ball game is a sport similar to soccer, wherein teams try to score points by hauling the huge earth ball on the opposing team's court. The ball is so huge, that it will require good teamwork to fling it to one direction.
- Other games, such as basketball, was also hosted in the recreation center.
- The riders get to enjoy an extreme sport, which is wall climbing. Contestants try their best to scale up the wall in the shortest possible time.
- Another activity is the fellowship night. Riders and YMPH personnel get to know each other, and have fun over a can of beer. Also, in that activity, cluster heads of different groups were elected.
- There were a total of 69 riders in the touring adventure: 38 were from the combined Bulacan and Manila group, and 31 were from the Lucena group.
- Once again, we'd like to thank EVERYONE for making the YBR Touring Adventure - Luzon Leg possible!
